Utility & Internet Setup
We Make It Simple For You
At most Laredo Town Apartments communities, water, wastewater, and trash service are provided by management, so you’ll typically only need to arrange electric service and any internet or television service you choose.
Please refer to your lease agreement for the utilities included with your apartment.
Electric, Internet & TV Service
Before your lease begins, please:
- Set up electric service to start on or before your lease start date.
- Schedule internet or cable installation, if desired.
- If your provider requires access to your apartment, schedule installation after you receive your keys.
Many of our communities are served by Spectrum, offering internet, television, and phone service. We recommend contacting Spectrum before move-in to confirm service availability, review current offers, and schedule installation.
Residents may choose any provider that services their apartment community.
Saving Energy & Satellite Dish Guidelines
A few simple habits can help reduce your electric bill:
- Keep your thermostat at a consistent temperature.
- Replace your air filter regularly (management provides quarterly filter replacements at many communities).
- Keep air vents clear and doors and windows closed while your HVAC system is running.
- Close blinds during hot afternoons and turn off lights and electronics when not in use.
- Report heating or air conditioning issues promptly through the AppFolio Resident Portal.
To protect our buildings, satellite dishes and similar equipment may not be attached to apartment buildings or other property structures. Any approved satellite dish must be ground-mounted in a management-approved location and comply with your lease agreement.
