At Laredo Town Apartments, we understand that pets are family. That's why most of our apartment communities welcome responsible pet owners and their furry companions.
Our goal is to provide a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment for everyone—including residents without pets. By following a few simple community guidelines, we can maintain beautiful grounds while ensuring pets have comfortable places to enjoy the outdoors.
Whether you're moving with a small dog or another approved pet, our team is happy to help you understand our pet policies before you move in.
Why Pet Owners Choose Laredo Town Apartments
Unlike many apartment communities, we have intentionally created pet-friendly spaces throughout our properties.
Many of our communities feature:

- Pet waste bag dispensers and disposal receptacles

- Responsive on-site management and maintenance teams
Because every community is unique, pet amenities may vary slightly by property.
Our Pet Policy
To help create a comfortable living environment for all residents, our pet policy includes the following general guidelines.
Pets Are Welcome
- One approved pet per apartment home
- Family-friendly dogs weighing less than 30 pounds
- Pets only in approved apartment homes with hard-surface flooring (pets are not permitted in carpeted units)
Restricted Breeds
For the safety of our residents, employees, visitors, and pets, certain dog breeds are not permitted.
These include, but are not limited to:
- Pit Bull
- Rottweiler
- Wolf Hybrid
- Bulldog
- Mastiff
- German Shepherd
- Husky
- Chow Chow
- Doberman Pinscher
- Akita
Additional breed restrictions may apply. Management reserves the right to determine pet eligibility in accordance with our community policies and applicable law.
Please Note: These pet restrictions do not apply to qualified assistance animals that have been approved through our reasonable accommodation process in accordance with applicable fair housing laws.
Pet Fees
$300 pet deposit
$20 monthly pet fee
Maximum of one approved pet per apartment home
Pet fees and policies are subject to change. Please verify current requirements with our leasing office.
Pet Registration Requirements
Before bringing a pet into your apartment home, residents must complete our Animal Addendum and provide any required documentation.
This may include:
- Current rabies vaccination records
- Breed, age, weight, and color information
- Emergency contact information
- A completed and signed Animal Addendum
- Only pets approved by management may reside in the apartment
Service Animals & Assistance Animals
Laredo Town Apartments fully complies with all applicable federal and state fair housing laws regarding service animals and assistance animals.
Qualified assistance animals are not considered pets under applicable law and are evaluated through a separate reasonable accommodation process. Breed, size, and pet fee restrictions do not apply to approved assistance animals.
If you believe you qualify for a reasonable accommodation, our leasing team will gladly explain the approval process.
Being a Responsible Pet Owner
Our communities are shared by families, children, seniors, and fellow pet owners. Responsible pet ownership helps everyone enjoy living here.
Residents are expected to:
- Keep pets under control at all times.
- Use a leash whenever outside the apartment home unless inside an approved enclosed area.
- Pick up pet waste immediately.
- Dispose of waste in designated receptacles.
- Prevent excessive barking or disruptive behavior.
- Prevent pets from damaging landscaping or community property.
- Respect neighbors and shared outdoor spaces.
Pet Waste Station Locations
To help keep our communities clean and enjoyable, most Laredo Town Apartments communities include pet waste stations stocked with disposal bags and waste receptacles.
The aerial maps below include blue paw icons to identify the locations of these stations (click the gallery for a full view). We encourage residents to use the nearby grassy areas whenever practical, always clean up after their pets, and dispose of waste in the provided receptacles.

COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
To help keep our communities clean and enjoyable for everyone, please remember:
- Always clean up after your pet.
- Do not allow pets to roam freely.
- Pets may not be tethered outside unattended.
- Prevent excessive barking or aggressive behavior.
- Help protect landscaping and common areas from damage.
- Follow all applicable local animal control laws.
Residents are responsible for any damage caused by their pets.
Cleaning & Damage Responsibility
Residents are responsible for maintaining their apartment home and for any pet-related damage beyond normal wear and tear.
Charges may apply for additional cleaning, odor removal, flooring replacement, repairs to doors, blinds, screens, landscaping, or other damage caused by a pet, as permitted by the Lease Agreement and Animal Addendum.

Are pets allowed at every apartment community?
Most of our communities are pet-friendly. Availability may vary depending on the apartment home and flooring type.
How many pets can I have?

Yes. Immediate cleanup is required throughout the community.
Can my pet be off leash?
No. Pets should remain leashed whenever outside your apartment home unless inside an approved enclosed area.
